I had so much fun painting this. The challenges I faced with this painting, because it was so dark, were surreal. I wanted to create depth by bringing in all sorts of blue colors to make it a dynamic piece.

The raven is strong, cunning, and agile. They perform funny and playful antics. They are intelligent and learn easily; they're like a four-year-old child, only with a cunning nature. Ravens are often seen as bearers of magic, messengers between us mortals and the spiritual world. When I think of a raven, I think of their humanity and mischief. I'm glad I was able to bring this piece to life.
