Indie is a very special dog, she is a rock!

She came to the Netherlands as a rescue dog from Greece, where she was found on the beach. She was a traumatized dog, which made it difficult for her to be indoors, so she would climb on top of everything just to be able to look outside. When Suzanne met her, there was an immediate connection, even though everything was scary for Indie. Through a lot of patience and love, Indie regained her self-confidence. Indie loved cycling together and going horseback riding. She would walk proudly beside her owner.

Suzanne took her everywhere with her: to the petting zoo, the zoo, by train to the beach. It was all so familiar, and Indie would spend the whole day playing in the sand and the water. Now Indie lives with Suzanne in France, where she prefers to lie outside in the sun all day. "She is my protector and the protector of all my animals," Suzanne says. Indie is the most beautiful child she could wish for. Indie is now 11 years old and is going a little deaf, but she still protects all the animals that belong to their blended animal family.
